That feeling when you’re just about to take a perfectly framed photo and then someone ruins it makes it 100 times better, by walking right through the frame.

My plan: Take photos of the art dotted around Block 318 in Adliya, during the annual art festival. But the perfect winter weather had brought everyone out, too.

This wall amused me. The faces staring back at me. Spotting odd ones out. Trying to come up with my own reason why.

Inner monologue over, I lifted my camera to take my shot.

He walks by.
I click.

Just a fleeting moment in this dude’s day. On his way to or from work. Seeing friends or family. Or just passing through, completely unaware he's now part of mine.

Taken on 24 November, 2017 in Adliya, Bahrain.

Seen something small worth noticing?

Reply with your own photo. I’d love to see it. There are just 3 rules: one image, no overthinking, bonus points for mediocre lighting.

P.S. I sell prints of my Probably Nothings. If you see something in the newsletter not for sale, let me know.
